Jack H. Perigo
PERIGO Jack H. Perigo, age 83, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010. Jack was born and raised in Columbus, son of the late Isaac and Edith Perigo. Also preceded in death by his wife Betty Perigo, and grandson Keef Perigo. Jack was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. Throughout his life, Jack was always involved with numerous fraternal organizations. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Paschall Post #164, Eagles #3620, Southeast Conservation Club, VFW Post #8198, Southgate Masonic Lodge #692, and the Hilltop Shrine. He retired as a master mechanic from Chesrown Automotive. Jack was a wonderful story teller and was the kind of man who never met a stranger and was always willing to give anyone a helping hand. He will be missed by his children, John Perigo, Judy (Steven) Lewis, Donald Perigo, and Terry (Patty) Perigo; grandchildren, Todd, John, Jaime, and Tara; great- grandchildren, Luke, Kate, Nate, Will, Eli, and Sydney; special niece, Sondra McKinney; and other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORRIS GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
