
Alex was a member of Sam Mason Post 690, an original Tuskegee Airman. Alex was an Air Traffic Controller at Lockborne Air Force Base as part of the Tuskegee Airman's 477th Composite Group, later to become an Air Traffic Controller at Port Columbus for 26 years. Alex was a Past Chef de Gare of the 40 et 8, Voiture 15.
Alex will be missed.
BOUDREAUX Alex A. Boudreaux, age 90, died peacefully February 20, 2011 at Summit Trace Healthcare Center. Preceded in death by wife Mary Louise DeCoux Boudreaux and eldest son Charles Anthony Boudreaux. Born November 17, 1920, Alex was raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. A Tuskegee Airman, he worked for 26 years as an air traffic controller for Port Columbus International Airport. Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, American Legion, Class 2005 Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame, and Knights of Columbus. Survived by son, John (Vickie) of Columbus; daughter, Anita of Los Angeles; daughter-in-law, Mary (Anthony Curry) of Columbus; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be prior to the Funeral Mass from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, February 24 at St. Dominic Church, 455 North 20th St., where the Funeral Mass will be Thursday 11 a.m. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.
