Description: Fabrication Technician

Job Purpose: Perform manual operations in Fabrication Assembly and other various tasks throughout fabrication

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual operations in fabrication assembly including riveting, masking, install gasket(s), sealing, mechanical assembly, and epoxy bonding
  • Run various fabrication equipment after the machine is setup as instructed.  This equipment includes, but is not limited to: Haeger, press brakes, shears, punch presses, spot welders, metal finishing machines, and CNC Machines
  • Complete all process/product related documentation and inspection as itrelates to the work performed
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations
  •  Maintain orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, ESD, part handling and inventory points within Fabrication
  • Provide assistance and interface with all areas of Manufacturing
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed
  • Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned by Management

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience with a good knowledge commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the mechanical field
  • Experience with a variety of metal fabrication equipment, power tools and assorted measuring/calibration devices
  • Requires ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Oral and written communication skills for a team environment
  • Detail oriented, organized, analytical
  • Ability to read blueprints, calipers, height gauges, and assembly documents.
  • Experience with Deburr machines, Turret Punch Presses, Shears and Haegers a plus
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Accounting Assistant Needed - Full Time

NW Columbus property management firm needs a detail oriented, hardworking individual with a desire to become involved in the day to day accounting for several HUD subsidized senior living apartment facilities. Responsibilities will include verifying data entry of A/P to the GL and processing weekly payments, confirming cash receipts and monitoring resident A/R balances, and working closely with onsite managers to maintain consistency and accuracy. The right candidate will have general accounting experience with journal entries and accruals, and will be able to perform account reconciliations, produce monthly expense variance information, maintain audit schedules, perform budget data entry, and assist with producing monthly financial statements.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Accounting 

Must be proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel

Experience with HUD, tax credit, and YARDI software a plus
