Four Chaplain Service CancelledThe Four Chaplain Service planned for the 12th District this Sunday (2/7/2010) has been cancelled becuase of the weather. Welcome to the American Legion, 12th District, the Department of Ohio. This Website is for the Veterans, active duty military and the families of Veterans and active duty military of Central Ohio as well as those that are interested in Veteran's and military issues in Central Ohio. The Officers and members of the 12th District fully support the programs and practices of the American Legion. We dedicated to the principles of the four pillars as defined by our founding fathers.

Silver Star Confusion
The Silver Star being presented at the Statehouse on Sat. 6 at noon is not the same as the presentation of our own former Marine, Dan Gire. the Gire presentation has been postponed to 2/20/2010, @ Vets Memeorial at 3:00 PM. We would also like to recognize Sgt. 1st Class Mark Wanner of the Ohio National Guard as having received the Silver Star. Job well done!
